Mushroom Brooch Workshop, Thursday, June 25, 2026
During the workshop, you will create a mushroom embroidery design that you will turn into a brooch.
You will start by embroidering the cap, learning the "long-and-short" stitch to create a beautiful gradient.
You will then embroider the stem and the moss to complete the design.
Once the embroidery is finished, it will be mounted as a brooch.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and allows you to discover embroidery while creating an item to wear or give as a gift.
Full-day workshop: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Materials provided:
Embroidery hoop, embroidery needle, "Magic Paper" sheet with printed pattern, white Miyuki beads
DMC threads, fabric, and brooch pin.
Just bring your sewing kit (thimble, small scissors...), your picnic lunch, and your good spirits :)

If you can’t spend the whole day on the mushroom brooch project, which takes more time, you can opt for another creative embroidery project: the carrot!
A 3-hour workshop with Virginie*, where you’ll embroider this colorful vegetable onto the fabric of your choice: a blouse, collar, dress, or bib?
(Note: please choose a cotton fabric; no stretch fabrics)
A 3-hour class on Friday, June 26, starting at 10 a.m.
I promise: I’ll bake a delicious carrot cake to keep you going!
Just bring your sewing kit (thimble, small scissors...), your picnic, and your good spirits :)
